Just a side note about "dog people" and "dog culture"... We have owned 3 dogs over the past 30 years. Until this most recent dog, Sammy, we just got a puppy, added it into the family mix and moved on. We had a dog, but we were not "dog people". I did not realize what this meant until this new dog.
