      ... your surf board against the waves took a lot more work. In addition, you end up using muscles you don't think of like your toes and the ball of your foot. My friend and I both admitted later that it was worth the effort to get up on the board a few times but perhaps Boogie Boarding might be a bit easier:)

      Success today is the Mercedes sliding cargo door has been sold on ebay.

      ... Squarepants in the 4D cinema which was amusing (it was AMAZING!...Sophie, obviously!) before finishing up watching the Fish Detectives Sea Lion Show which was awesome! It's amazing what some of these animals can do! Jumped on the monorail and had a quick walk around Penguin Encounter to see the penguins before heading to the bus stop and back on the 705 to Surfers Paradise. We got back to the Islander to find three new English roomies (all girls). After about ten minutes ...

      ... was going to be attended by quite a few of the world class surfers referenced at the museum. We did not stop as we had to carry on our travel past the Tweed Heads and into New South Wales. We can enjoy an extra hour of sunshine thanks to daylight saving that they don't bother with in Queensland. I find it funny how different the Queensland and New South Wales States are with the time change and the regulations. It is a good job we have already petted the koalas as we can't do it ...

      ... up with Tracey for lunch. We went to a place called the Pancake Manor, it was a restaurant that served pancakes and crÍpes twenty four hours a day in an old converted church. The food was good and the place itself was really cool. In the afternoon we drove around and got some of the things I wanted to take home with me, then Tracey took me to the airport in the evening. My flight was delayed a little, but I ended up getting to Cairns only one hour later than we were supposed to. So not too ...
