... chosen to eat fish the rest of my life hehe. But here it's so expensive, like REALLY EXPENSIVE, so I don't wanna waste my money at fish haha. I guess I have never eaten this much chicken ever in my life, coz here is the cheapest option chicken and minced beef. So think about how many different dishes you can do at this ingredients at a stove: Salt, peppar, pasta, rice, chicken, minced beef, tomato sauce, sour cream, veggies, eggs. Not so many, right? ... cyclone season which meant we were witness to some fabulously strange storm formations but as we left the tropics behind us the temperatures started to cool a smidgen. I say smidgen as poor Barry is still having to chuck out Air Con for us during the day then have his battery eaten up with our mini clip on fan at night!

It must be time to consider heading home. We woke to a heavily overcast day and it's stayed that way all day. Not a breath of wind, with the temperature hovering around 21C. After breakfast we headed to Hastings Street for one final look at the beach while enjoying a mid-morning coffee / freshly squeezed pineapple and mint juice. Being Saturday the boardwalk and shopping areas were busier than normal with plenty of weekenders up from Brisbane. We browsed the shops looking ...
