Today was the day that the boat got launched... after a bit of a noisy journey pulling it on its wheels to the river it was time to test if the 40 year old Johnson motor would start. A little bit of fuel and off she went.... the antique outboard motor was purring!! This was a fun day and not even the fisherman telling me bull sharks had been sighted in the river ruined ...

The view was beautiful. A siesta on the beach taking in the rays and Liz re-living her youth jumping and diving into the waves (the strongest water she had ever been in) followed by an evening of cooking the most scrummy chili con ...

Monday I showered him, washed his hair, did his nails, moisturized his legs, fed him till he popped, made up the mixture Hayley had given him and pampered to his every need. He slept , ate, drank, ate, slept all day with a few intervals of Allison and Andrew popping in to see how he was. He was perking up and only had pain relief in the morning and before bed. He watched some of his Tour de France DVD's while ...
