... to get stuck in Bogota, I jumped on the plane and kept my fingers crossed that by some chance of fate my bag would somehow arrive in Cartegena. Well, someone was looking down on me that day because lo and behold, it was one of the first few out in Cartegena.

I spotted my name in the arrivals and jumped in the taxi to my host family. The daughter was waiting at the gates with a huge welcoming grin and a massive cuddle ...

... GPS, as Rachel didn't fancy negotiating our way out of London and the various forward journeys. The "Rent-a-Car" man navigated us through a range of charges and explained we were better of taking the Audi A5 diesel with a built in GPS, so we found ourselves driving out of London in this magnificent car with only 200 miles on the clock. It's very comfortable and uses practically no fuel.

Well, today it ****** down in London. We did get to give a chestnut to a squirrel in Hyde Park and pop by Lizzie's humble abode first, but then it bucketed ... ... from re supermarket but ended up wondering around a bit in the supermarket since there was so much available that I haven't seen through most of Europe. Things like peanut butter and honeycomb ice cream, and a huge selection of yoghurt. In fact, there was a huge variety of every product you could pretty much think of.
