... and the wheel never stops moving, so you board as it moves. Then you ride for 30 minutes around the enormous wheel. It was a very clear day, so our view of London was fantastic! We got a great view of Big Ben and the Parliament as well as the Charring Cross station and London in general. The ride goes by quickly, but it was well worth the money, especially with Evan. Lunch was at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and it is currently the 5th best restaurant in the world! The restaurant ...

... A lot of responsive readings, the Scripture read was Psalm 46, and we sang along (music printed in the thick program, nothing we knew...) with the choir and probably 200-300 visitors...enjoyed it a lot. The vicar (guess they rotate from other parishes) was young, but we appreciated his message from the Gospels about the church inviting others to the great banquet, and not refusing God's invitation of grace ourselves.

... over here – even the double decker
buses give you a bit of leeway. Cycled pass Buckingham Palace and up
the mall but couldn't go any further the roads were blocked off. We
had stumbled across the 'Trooping the Colours” - happens every 10
years. It was nice of them to wait until we arrived to begin. Saw the
Queenie .. a blue blur in the distant of one of the shots, but then
in the car going past. Carried on down to join the tourist crowds

... all weekend). We introduced ourselves and ended up talking for a few hours. He was pretty awesome! We invited him to tour the city with us the next day since he was travelling alone. Did I mention he was from Texas? He was an American brethren!

I went for a run this morning to go drop my custom Vietnamese boots off at the cobblers to get re-soled. A large crack has appeared in one which resulted in water seeping in and making them even more uncomfortable. Replacing the soles worked out a lot cheaper than buying a new pair. I dropped them off on my run and continued around to the park where I have regularly been going.
