My favourite part of the trip definitely has to be the elephant camp, it was such an awesome experience, playing with elephants and helping out around the camp with education, cooking and cleaning.     Yesterday was my last day in Brissie and I am really sad about it. I have grown to like it here because I have a really great group of friends here. Our group has grown quite a bit and it has been such a laugh the last couple weeks.

    ... for the expo it has not taken up residence on the south shore for locals to enjoy it's beautiful carvings. Then to end my day it's onto “Streets Beach” for a little surf and sand. While surf might be a little exaggeration. This is a man made swimming area meant to be like a local beach and sea. Since Brisbane is actually quite far inland it doesn't have it's own oceanfront beach so this was the solution. Not to bad and even comes with lifeguards!

    ... funny meals in plastic containers and a couple of naps, I was tired but here at last. It was early morning and I needed to get my luggage. I then went through customs and everything was fine with all of my documents.

    The cold air outside the airport reminded me that I was a long way from home. I caught a cab to my hotel and it was a busy ride through the streets of London. Smart traveller said to exercise normal safety precautions and I felt pretty safe.
