      - Tahiti - first impression is; don't bother, its run down, the hotels are more three star than four and its expensive (this may be a little harsh given to short exposure we had)
      - No connecting flights - its a chore to get there

      ... thin bed. It certainly wasn't the roomy and luxurious Apollo campervan we had seen a couple weeks ago but I was hoping this one would grow on me. After loading up our bags and signing off on the paperwork, we still had to drop off the rental car. We did this together and took a cab back as I actually hadn't done any driving in Australia and didn't think now was the day to start.       ... 00 pm. Jacqueline arrive at 5.20 pm to join us for our Christmas celebrations. A local winery set up and gave out samples, it was a good prelim to dinner. We all took our seats and the meal was quite good. The main was baked ham, roast chicken, roast potato, roast pumpkin, peas, carrots and corn.       Think we must have been tired, slept for 14 hours solid !!!!!
      It seems that my hay fever was a false alarm, Ian's plan to prove this involved taking us to the Botanical Gardens at Mount Coot-tha, there are great views of the city from the top and loads and loads of pollen!! Fortunately for everyone, especially Ian I survived. We had a lovely stroll round the gardens and saw lots of water dragons and birds as well as the flowers.
