    ... and we arrived at the apartment complex by a man and his dog. No not a joke, literally a man a his dog. Not only was he a man and a dog but a very handsome Italian guy and the cutest Labrador/pit bull I have ever met. He carried (did I mention carried??) my bag to my room for me and then we chatted in the kitchen for a while. He showed us how his dog high fives you and plays dead when you pretend to shoot him. (Sometimes it's just the little things) in the back ...

    ... had to be tactful to our faces but we were overwhelmed with the universal good will and positive feeling about America at virtually every stop.  I found this surprising as my current state of mind regarding USA is hardly positive (especially after realizing how much tax money we spend on feeding John Kerry and of course that he tried to ruin my shoes). We got a real sense of almost yearning from the various Europeans we encountered - for our lifestyle, for our (in their minds) ...

    ... Mama, which we both got, in the souvenir Fish Bowl. It was Ok, I think that was the only one for those I ordered.
    Got our passes for the Spa for the duration. only thing they were missing in the Spa was the heated stone loungers, but we survived without them.

    Our sailaway was right on time, and we headed towards blue water.

    ... What I recommend for hostel attributes and amenities; good central location (especially being close to the train terminal), security lockers, linens “included”, internet access (very important), laundry units (once a week), enstuite (private bathroom for your room), cleanliness (check for bed bugs!) and it is always nice to have a place with their own bar.
