... get some nice heavy squats. They have a pretty good range of equipment and a pool we can use too so I'm sure that will be nice in the winter. We were pretty exhausted after and just made a trip to Walmart for a few more things then relaxed.
Overall it's been a pretty quiet week but it's been nice to just take it slow as it's been pretty crazy up to this and we know it's gonna get pretty crazy in a months time!!
... in Gypsum (another 20 mins further west). It would appear that despite being called OCTOBER fest, everywhere locally had already celebrated it in SEPTEMBER....it's not just me that finds this strange, right?!?!
Anyway, Gypsum was the only place that had theirs in October so we went to see what it was all about....again a little quiet compared to what we expected but still a fun few hours. We had Bratwursts, Darren had a special brewed beer from near by 'Bonfire ...
... there's always a next time! They also have lots of art work/canvases etc on the walls of the local area which are just amazing!
Afterwards we went to Walmart to get a big fan as the screen on our windows don't allow much breeze in and it can get pretty hot!
Darren also got a little sketch book as I keep telling him how good he is at drawing but he doesn't' think so....now he has a sketch book he can practice more and see how good he really ...
... easy reach.
But let's get back to the Aspen trees, I adore them for the colour of their barks blue silvery and their amazing golden leaves which generally abandoned the branches at the gentle swirl of the colorado wind.
