Another weekend! We trained up to the city of Manchester on friday night (2.30hrs on train) and stayed with Uncle Andrew in his apartment. Which was lovely!! Apparently it was the first day that there was fully blue sky this year! Score :D

We did a tour of the Etihad stadium where the Man City football team play. The complex is amazing! …

... this was the morning that the wifi decided to play silly buggers and the iPad decided not to display any emails. Anyway we decide to risk it - we needed a car regardless. Off to Heathrow and we remember that while we aren't sure who we booked with, it was through Qantas so there are only really three options. Nope no booking ... Still not sure how it happened as we both remember sitting at the computer and doing it. Unfortunately we had to pay through the nose for the car. Oh ...

... learned that the area of the labrynith was able to survive with no water. Wow!!!! Following this visit to the gardens we headed to manchester to see my sister, brother in law and niece and nephew. The GPS was great and took us on the country roads to avoid the traffic. We enjoyed a wonderful Shabbat dinner together and the kids are having fun playing and catching up. Now for a restful Shabbat Shabbat ...

Matt and Jess both took the day off today as it was their 3rd wedding anniversary and they had plans. We were just making sandwiches for tea as they came home, but they were still too full from their late lunch to eat. We just had a nice companionable evening at home in front of the telly.
