    ... and Alexandra Headland beach. Went out early and was all sunblocked up and got in about 3pm and my face is a beetroot with eye sockets... I forgot to sunblock my face properly and the weather has been overcast so I didn't think to top up and I was wearing sunglasses and I look stupid. Ah well, had to happen eventually I suppose.

    ... kind to us so far. Northerly winds have been a bit of a bother and on one particular night the van and awning suffered a little battering, but I guess that goes with the territory when you hug the coast line.
    Ray is quite impressed with the local councils who keep the curbs and grass area's mowed and watered and looking pristine.
    We have decided to incorporate a few house sitting jobs in our travels, enabling us to explore area's without having to tow the van ...

    ... an hour before grabbing a cappuccino and a cake at one of the many cafés (Daryl's rocky road tart was an absolute monster).
