I'm afraid that nothing bloggable has happened in the last week.

We've been sitting on a very robust mooring buoy in sunny Sarasota Florida. We don't even have to worry about dragging our anchor. And we've been shopping like mad - true to the Jackson family motto "Spend Spend Spend!" It looks like they've been doing a bit of the same in New York - as they should! Additionally the winds will be from the NNW, thereby giving us a little push from behind and perhaps shortening our travel time. This is not particularly important since the joy of boating is that the journey is as much fun as arriving at the destination. But I will say that today ...

... for dinner...Wednesday we had an appointment in Tampa but were able to see Ashlie for dinner afterward, and yesterday I visited Laurel Oak to watch my team's tennis match and have lunch with them. In the evening we had visiting Swedes here for dinner. And of course the list goes on and on. It's so great to be back and catching up with good friends. I look forward to many more reunions!
