    What a day we had today! We woke up to some clouds and thought it would rain. Hoping for the best, we left Westminster around 8:45 and headed to Estes Park via Boulder, ultimately going to Rocky Mountain National Park.     ... was a retired Grade 5 teacher/principal. The tour ended at 2 and we still had an hour drive to Denver. The mint website said we should be there a half hour early, so we were concerned we wouldn’t get there in time. As it turned out, we got there just in time.     Spent a few hours hiking through the forest next to the Lodge, before heading down to Breckenridge and wandered around the town.

    The morning starts off with another hike into the forest. Then its time for my friend Gerry to arrive from Cleveland Ohio.

    These days are spent sightseeing in the car. Bonus was seeing a mother moose very close to the Lodge.
