We had hoped to head to Guanella Pass, but with a dire forecast of rain early in the day, we decided to return to Elk Meadow. On Tuesday, Reesey visited the vet, who removed what looks like a dried up ponderosa pine needle from her ear. (See picutre) So byWednesday she was ready to go. We arrived at the Dog Park at 9:10, had time to explore all ...

We drove through miles and miles of GMO corn, soybean, and canola fields to finally arrive in Denver. We stopped at a dispensary but it wasn't the wonderous candystore style shopping we'd imagined it to be. Everything was in sealed packages and you couldn't buy less than an eighth at a time. Oh well.

Next we stopped and got food at this really cool vegan restaurant called Native Foods Cafe. The food was ...

... as easy as it looks in disney movies or in comic books. I'd like to say we knew what we were doing, but we had ansolutely no idea. So after some time we got something that vaguely resembled a snowman. This guy was particularly great, however, as he even had his own beer :) The rest of the afternoon contained many more snow fights, making snow angels, playing in the snow and just being silly! Lots of fun... P.S. Dinner was two-minute noodles, so simple yet ...
