Driving through Colorado was amazing, the mountains are beautiful. Once again, we weren't on the interstate often, so I think we got to see a lot more. I'd only been to Colorado Springs a couple of times and Denver once, so this was all entirely new to me. We stayed in Glenwood Springs, Colorado Sunday night.

Today Sheila and I traveled to Crested Butte, Colorado. While in Crested Butte, we did some shopping and had lunch. There were a lot of sales going on. I got a nice sweatshirt for $20. After shopping, we headed to Mount Crested Butte. Again, we arrived early. The ski lifts to take you to the top of the mountain don't open until this weekend. After walking through the sanctuary, Sheila and I headed back downtown to look at the shops - we didn't buy anything - all the stores were pretty high classed. Before leaving Aspen, we drove to the Ashcroft Ghost Town. In its heyday, this town was bigger than Aspen. Now it is a series of log cabin buildings. You can only imagine what life was in the town.
