... we had so many amazing experiences and opportunities to bond. I know my kids will be laughing together and reflecting on various pieces of this trip for the rest of their lives. They will never watch rugby the same again and every time they surf, they will remember where they learned. It was time to leave, on our way again towards home, from Hervey Bay. We had a lovely day, yesterday in Hervey Bay. We fished off the jetty and caught a big toad fish, and threw him back! Had a prawn roll for lunch and then headed off to explore... We found the Water Park (free) Had a walk and explored some shops. Also an offer too good to refuse, Mudcrab, $10! For dinner. Today we drove through Maryborough, ...
... which is lovely. She made us feel right at home and then because she was working this afternoon we had a little sleep and just relaxed from our early arrival! This evening when Mike, Debbie's husband came back from work we had a BBQ and some drinks and it was a perfect way to end a relaxing ...
... we were hungry for tea. More people had arrived in the room, and being Friday they all seemed like idiots.
Made tea of Steak, potatoes and beans, was really nice. Saved some steak for tomorrow, probably for steak sandwiches!
Went back and used the internet until it was time for showers.
Watched some Tv and then tried to sleep but there were people talking so loud a drinking in the room, Germans, obviously.

by flying into Nice we have saved ourselves $1200.00 No overnight in Paris and no TGV to Avignon so really happy about that
Itinerary prepared with day trips and one trip of 4 days to Bordeaux and then onto Spain and San sebastian back through Pomplona and over the Pyrenees to Pau and follow the route of the Tour de France until we arrive back in St Jean.
