... day because it was 16.25 and the bus was supposed to depart at 16.30. We hurried to buy our tickets (BHT 230 per person), hopped on and were on our way to Chiang Mai. It was unbelievable.

We arrived in Chiang Mai at about 21.00 and were so hungry that we decided to eat something first. Both of us wanted to have something disgustingly American so there was only one option – McDonald´s. When we spotted it nobody could stop us :)

... fell into Charles -- who again had nothing to hold onto -- which made him pitch even further forward. I'm surprised with didn't go crashing off our elephant and into the ravine. All along the way a staff memeber was snapping our photos. We have a CD from the outting, but we don't have any way to view those photos until we get to a laptop (we're using a tablet.) So photos from the ride will have to wait.

... just booked an early morning flight to Bangkok, and hoped someone would cancel their flights from Bangkok to koh samui and we'd drop lucky arriving at Bangkok. Otherwise it was time to scratch out heads. So an early night, up at 4am, got on the flight, landed safely and off to the booking desk we marched. It was out lucky day! Two people had cancelled on a flight in the afternoon so we nabbed the two spots and just had to wait at the airport for 5 hours, quite relieved with the ...
