... by Jim & Vicky and so caught up on one another’s adventures over the past few days. They are such lovely people. It turns out that Vicky too was unwell and went to the Doctor for a round of antibiotics after noticing a "rattling cough" and such. We all received our bills today (ours, not so bad considering the one tour which was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive). Anyway….Vicky’s doctor bill…..$450 for a five ...

... dye job comb over. HOLY ****! Who are they kidding?? What are they running from?? I love my greying hair (NOT my greying beard though…go figure). So, I shave therefore no beard, but my hair….I have earned each and every grey hair on my head, and I embrace it…even the receding hairline and bald spot in the back. Inevitable. Why fight it?

So, I'm not even sure if anyone is still reading this?! If they are then, wow, good on you. I would have given up ages ago! So we have made it. Three months of busses, boats, trains. Three months of hostels, apartments and airport kips. Three months of Jed! Well, technically it's four if you count London/ Devon and I guess I should as he was with me almost everyday! ... as a result of the many petitions of the villagers. It is still an active bullring, with bullfights starting after Easter. Just watch out when they start serving Ox-tail soup at the local restaurants.
The Parish Church (#9) was finished in 1631, and was used by villagers in case of an attack. It's built just behind #10, the remains of old fortress walls, also used for protection from invaders from the sea. ...
