On the way back we saw really big moose sitting among the trees. We came home for a little while and then Natalie, Dad and I got ready to go to Walmart to pick up a few things. After Walmart we had chicken and rice for dinner and went to bed after a long tiring ...

... Although we didn't have TV, we kept up on much of the news via computer, and all the news in the U.S. just seemed more and more alarming as time went on, and the differences became more and more apparent between what we were living there and reading about here. I became increasingly afraid for the U.S., for the direction it seemed to be going and for my kids and grandkids who were living in and being influenced by it all.
