We climbed up a very tall outlook tower (not recommended for anyone with even a slight fear of heights) for an even better vantage point, but it was very hazy so we were actually just gazing out at a view of vast greyness.     ... pyrotechnics. So Berlin! We finished off the night with more beer, pizza and a German hazelnut sundae with pistachio, hazelnut and vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream, more hazelnuts and delicious wafer cookies. We really loved the diversity in Berlin, it would take weeks to truly see everything and understand the essence of the culture. It's definitely a place we would visit again. Off to The Netherlands tomorrow - our orange spandex suits are ready to go ;) ...

    ... it's strange to see them as just another building in the street. And in the other direction. Nothing too fancy, just pleasant. And next to my table something left over from another era... As for tipping they've so far been content with 10%25 which is ok seeing the food and beer are on the whole pretty cheap. And it's probably less than I'd often leave anyway considering what 10%25 of such a small amount ...
