We're in Moab, Utah and spent the day in a Jeep doing 4WD tracks through the National Parks. Lots of dust and bumps! I've attached a picture of the famous Shafer Trail that goes from the top of the canyon, down to the Colorado River. Now, in the state of the Mormons, with its laws on polygamy, I've been amazed by the drinking laws. ...

We've stopped in Salt Lake City for a few days to visit some old friends and do some sight seeing. The Johnson's have kids the same age as Taylor and Jake. They were in the same classes at GVS. They moved from New Hampshire when Taylor and Parker were in 3rd ...

About an hour later I devcided to check out this town I saw from the road Helper Idaho and upn exiting the car, I kinda felt like I was in a giant attic… Very cool in a way!

I went to the old the Rio Grande Depot where I had a great conversation with Jeff the security guard.

... out to dinner. We had heard that there was a steak house around the corner called Diamond Lil’s. Put it this way, I should have cooked. The meal was terrible. But the décor of the place was fantastic; it could have fitted in with an old school Clint Eastwood cowboy and Indian movie. It had pictures up on the walls of Whyte Earp, Doc Holiday and Jesse James.
