Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

        Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

        Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

... baggage fee has magically been waived away and my bags are checked all the way to Okinawa.

My parents and I said a really sad and tearful goodbye. It's one of those paramount moments where you feel the entire gravity of what you're about to do weighing on your soul. I love them so much and I'm really going to miss them. I waltzed through security, and here I sit at my gate a full hour and ...

... when we passed through Titusville as we had hoped to stop and visit Bart's brother but sadly he passed on just before we made the trip. We did honor his memory as we cruised through Titusville and when the dolphins began jumping all around us, it seemed like a special passage.

As noted, given the conditions, it was a wonderful day to cruise and we made Halifax Marina in Daytona Beach in excellent time, although by the time we entered the marina, the winds ...

... last night. It's pretty uneventful .... I bit different from my last trip but that's a good thing. We are sat outside in the Tiki Bar where a decent reggae band are playing. I have a chowder followed by a rather unhealthily salad. It's got fries on the top covered in cheese.

So it's an early night for me. I'm a good boy...... If I say it enough I'll start to believe it. I'm a good boy ........ I'm a good ...

... in the town of Fernandina Beach which is located on Amelia Island. This is the extreme northeastern corner of Florida. It seems that the beach sites here had been closed for a while. They were bringing the restrooms up to ADA compliance. A member of one of the Yahoo groups put out information that the loop had reopened. The response he got from fellow members would have ...
