    Home Sweet Home

A travel blog entry by psandefur on Jul 24, 2014

Although we had planned on 6 months we made it 113 days and Terry drove the motorhome 7,478 miles and 6,480 in the Jeep totaling 13,958.

We saw everything we wanted to see and were lucky to have good weather every where we went until we hit the south and got the rain and humidity.

Our next journey will continue next year....Stay tuned.

On the 4th Mike, Roy and the kids went to a family friends place. From the sounds of it, these people are not wanting for anything as they had a fabulous home on the ocean and a 300K yacht on the dock. And, there was also a very nice restaurant within walking distance of the marina which more than made up for the marina's bad restaurant.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Daytona. First Mate ...

... Worth we headed further north to Jupiter with plans to visit what I saw as a must-see- the Burt Reynolds Museum. I just love the idea that someone out there saw this as a significant need and opportunity, and you just can't drive by something that pays tribute to a stage artist who was legendary within his own family, and who topped his career with the very cheesey Smokey & The Bandit movies. Unfortunately, not only is the museum closed ...

Greg went to the Monster Trucks with mates. This is another blog that is a few pictures and some information I found on the net. Enjoy anyway!

Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh ...
