    ... t finding it desperately easy. 48 miles down for the day we came across a creek and decided to call it quits. Just after gathering water, the thunder began again and the heavens opened.     After lunch I went riding in the indoor ring. Trainer Terry gave me a lesson on Oreo with wranglers John and Nicky. We worked on downward transitions: trot/walk, canter/trot and canter/halt. We rode about 1.5 hours. I used to ride English at home, had my own horse etc but now I only ride when I go to the ranch, but I always have to get on and ride at least once during my stay.
