      ... a wash on. We're not going to look at the upcoming route until tomorrow: today is going to be 100% Divide free (except for the forty miles we did this morning). With this in mind, we headed to the Mahogany Ridge Brewery and Grill for happy hour and got half price drinks and one dollar tapas dishes - ten of them.       ... a natural wildfire. It seems that it started down near Colorado Springs the day after we left... (promise, it wasn't us), and it had been following us ever since, now reaching Estes Park. We saw on the news the other day that these are some of the worst fires that the state of Colorado has seen. I guess we were lucky that we were always a day ahead of them.

      ... snowed. I had lemon poppy seed pancakes and bacon and potatoes for my daily breakfast.
      Today I went on a morning ski with guide Shannon and 2 other guests. We went to South Fork and did Figure 8. I was really tired, as I had come down with an annoying cold. So tired in fact that I changed my afternoon plan to tubing instead of skiing.

      ... where you don’t return to the ranch for lunch, they will pack a lunch for you. They give you cold cuts, bread and condiments to prepare your sandwich how you like it and you can also get fruit, chips, cookie and drink. We stopped for lunch for about 30 min and Jess had also brought hot chocolate.
