... sleeping and staying dry. Alex decided he was coming to Colorado with me which definitely helped lift my mood. We spent the weekend getting all of our gear together, then headed off for real.

On Digger's last day we drove up through the high country north of Jefferson up over Georgia Pass (11,585ft on the Continental Divide) in his 'Lincoln Navigator' hire car - he had to change from his BMW 740 after the sunroof exploded!!!!. Test fired a few weapons......
Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....
