... gemaakt. Er was ook een dairyfarm bij met echte zwart witte koeien. Het huis was prachtig, net een museum, en je kon je echt voorstellen hoe de mensen vroeger leefden hier. De rondleiding was interessant. Het verhaal over koffie konden de kinderen al meteen overnemen, ze hebben dus in elk geval iets geleerd onderweg. Ook de cacao wisten ze nog precies. By the end of the day we are both kitted out with our fake Raybans, I have a wardrobe full of colourful flowery dresses and we are sipping on ice cold Bintangs awaiting our food!
Looking up at the stars on the way back to our abode, I feel happy to be 'home'! Life on the road suits me and I realise just how much I have missed it! Dayne seems to be enjoying himself too, as he strolls along beside me munching on an ice cream...

After a rather quick departure from work (having finished work on the Friday and flying to Perth on the Saturday) it's time to head to Perth to see Saul and Danielle. Well Bali did not go quite as planned... We arrived in Kuta, known for parties and surfing. So since we don't party, Brandon thought he would try surfing (after I saw how much work it was I opted out). So along the beach, there are many locals offering one hour lesson, then 2 hours on your own. So we found someone and went with them. Brandon did great, got up on his second try, he wasnt the most graceful at it, but still did great. The thing with surfing is it takes so much work ...
