    ... it's sand is a shade of grey and littered with cigarette buts. There were a lot of cats living amongst the rock wall next to the beach. Today we went to the Picasso museum. It was interesting but it does astound me how much one can read into a painting. I think his work is very interesting and am amazed that he continued to paint until the day before he died.     ... isn't really any time when you can enjoy the area without seeing men on the make.

    In contrast I had a day in Marbella, I went in on the bus and really enjoyed myself though the marina was a bit disappointing. I was expecting a large number of expensive yatchs about which I could feel jealous but most were quite small and ordinary.     ... working in a bar run by Scots! The gift shop was selling an all natural hand cream fully home made with essential oils and herbs made by Paul no less! He invented his own recipe for the balm to aid the dryness and cracking that mountain climbers suffer with their hands hanging on to ropes and winches etc. he has patented it as CRAG WAX. I bought a little pot. Not sure about the crags but it makes brilliant lip balm. On my own again now. Next stop ...
