... so thick with avocado trees that you could swear you’re in the tropics—if you don’t look to the arid hills around. In fact, this stretch of road is known as the “Avocodo Route” It’s refreshing to see fertile land that provides a dependable crop. I admire folks for their grit and hard work in continuing to farm these rocky hillsides but I wonder if it really provides them with a reliable income. I reach the sizeable town of Benamargosa ...

I had met a girl on a language learning app that lived in Malaga about 2 weeks before i arrived in Spain and she talked me into coming to Malaga rather than Madrid becasue Malaga is cheaper and more beautiful, also Madrid no hay playas (there are no beaches in Madrid) so i decided to book a flight to Malaga. Once i had arrived I messaged her saying "hey, guess what? Im in Malaga." and she quickly replied "great, are you free tomorrow? ill show you ...

... exciting. We kicked ourselves for not returning the same way. Even though the roadways are excellent as reported previously- its just that they are carved out of the rock and looking over the edge is disconcerting.
Our second big drive was to Cordoba (Cordova), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, about 2 hours drive west and north from Triana through the foothills of the Sierra Morena mountains, one of the largest ...

... golden mile' to Marbella town and we stopped for lunch at Victors Beach Bar on the way, Great food in a funky atmosphere, cool music playing from its bar set below the restaraunt with giant bean bag to rest on as you take in the sun, sea and sand. We went here twice, on our own and with my Mum as we really enjoyed it here. The Head Waiter is very cool too, recognising us on our second visit and being very welcoming.

... Ronda: Everyday at 10:05 am. Reaches Ronda at 11:47 am. Its a direct train. There is another train but one has to change trains. Tickets are for 14 euros each (one way)

      3) Bus to Ronda: There are a couple of buses running between Malaga and Ronda, but the train is much faster. Buses take around 4-5 hours.

We took a very comfy ride to Ronda the next day. Its a beautiful ride with some brilliant scenery!
