2 days ago Rain and I were talking about the possibility of traveling with a caravan rather than a camper. I gave the reason this was not possible:
- To heavy for our car
- To expensive
- Wont fit the family
- Could take months to find something
- etc. etc
... enjoys nothing better than a thrilling 30 second ride down a water flume. After a 45 minute drive along the coast and heading in land we reached 'Wet & Wild'. Parking up and queuing for 30 mins we finally made our way to the locker section, stripped off and blinded the Aussies with our startlingly white limbs slathered in SPF 30 waterproof sunscreen :-) I decided to leave my flip flops in the locker. After a nice sleep in we went on a walk around the town and to the surfers paradise beach, they were dredging the sand so couldn't even go onto it but was still nice to see all the skyscrapers right beside the ocean. ... and on Beth's first go she got a strike, it was such a good atmosphere in there, everyone just spoke to everyone, and we got our first drink free too. The other places were good too, REALLY busy. We didn't get in till fairly late.. Me and bec were pretty ******, Beth and Ashleigh went home earlier as Beth had hurt her knee. Probably not the best idea getting so drunk as got a greyhound to Byron bay in the mornin! A well, at least we will sleep on the bus!! ...
