... we got set up and went in the water immediately as it was clear there were clouds on the way.

It was not the ideal sunny, hot beach day we had imagined, but it was one to remember. The clouds formed a long line extending all the way across the lake, and slowly encroached on our setup. The landscape around the lake is dominated by large pine trees, granite and snow capped peaks. The lake itself is stunning, its color is normally deep blue reflecting the color of ...

... the mtn was just so steep and my Jeep was about to pop. I pulled over immediately and let her cool off.

After that I barely limped to Tahoe. I got to Truckee where my family was staying and then turned up the last 2 mile stretch to the cabin we were staying in. ANd of course...it was an insane uphill road. My Jeep limped into the drive and nearly collapsed. I think I barley made it but holy ****...I was in Lake Tahoe with my Family!
