... We walked around Truckee a little bit
and back to the Chiropractor in the afternoon. The afternoon visit
was to see if it had helped. His spine had moved a few inches and the
pain was greatly diminished. Praise the Lord!

My x-rays showed long term sloping of
shoulder and neck effecting my spine and sure enough, in all the
places I have been having adjusted for the last 15 months. He did his
angles and calculations and adjusted me as well. We're ...

          ... camp.

Day three once again started with blue skies and sunshine but we were a bit less optimistic that the weather would hold. However, since we had not had a good beach day since their arrival we were going through with our plans, each saying our own little prayer or doing a sunshine dance. ... of course beer. We have been staying in the guys’ driveway with the Scamp but are unsure if we will stay here or move to a RV park down the street for the rest of the summer. We have our fingers crossed to stay here. With the beautiful weather every day, gorgeous beaches, The Lake, cool disc golf courses, a multitude of outdoor activities, the great people we have met and of course Mike it was an easy decision to stay and we are loving it here.

... that about 10 miles of the trail was dry and this greatly slowed us down.
We talked a lot about life, friends, and economics before coming up upon 3 day hikers who missed there turn and were 3 miles off course with empty water bottles. It made me feel less stupid for all the things we forgot haha.
We walked to a water source with them and purified some water and then they looked reinvigorated.
Our clock was ticking though with no headlamps, we had 4 hours left to summit ...

... nestled against this solo mtn rising above the clouds. Has a tourist, mountainous feel to it. I found a nice little bakery and got me a chocolate scone and coffee. We then headed on. UNeventful for hrs as we cruised the cnetral coast. Then we turned eastward to head to the foothills before hitting the mtns near tahoe. I eventually got off the 5 hwy and enjoyed the country scenery driving thru all the farm towns of the central coast. I ...
