... definitely from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck (Rockeffeler). Rockeffeller has an open and unobstructed view; although you can't take a tripod, so unless you have a really steady hand, you'll have to put your camera on the rail (its big enough that it won't fall off). It will be harder to take some photos with you in them too. Without the tripod or steady hand, the lights in the background will blur. Those views though. I ...

Set our alarm for 8 but struggled waking up so changed it to 8:30, not much sleep after a late night the night before. Once we got ready we went down for breakfast and then for our stuff ready and went exploring. First off we went to The Empire State Building, and got passes to both the 86 and 102 floor. Some spectacular views from the top of all of the city. Next we walked to Grand Central station, then on ...

... outs, can no longer afford to be in the area because it has become so hip and happening! While we are conspicuously standing on a street corner listening to Remy's dialogue about the Comedy Club, this random one-legged guy in an electric wheelchair crazily steers over towards us and points and laughs at us hysterically, then veers away again. I agree with him that we look pretty ridiculous and Remy doesn't miss a beat in his patter quipping that he is pleased someone finds ...
