... morning and got some lunch at the local pub before heading to get our bus to our surf lesson! It was such an awesome afternoon. ... on time. We made it though. The bus to Surfers Paradise was three hours with a time change. Queensland doesn't have day light savings as it is further North. The border between Queensland and New South Wales runs through a built up area so people living there must have a nightmare remembering which side of the state line they are on, and therefore what time it is. ... cold compared to the Aussie summer! Planning our days around the weather, the next day was ideal to do the coastal walk if previously done from coogee to bondi, sunny all day long. June seemed to really like it as the scenery and views are great, and we rewarded our efforts afterwards with pizza!
