... It was pitiful but they made up for it with terminals connected to the Internet. After my private tour of the local points of pride and a briefing on the economic crises and its effect on the local population, I returned to my cousin’s cafĂ© for dinner.

I depart in the morning back to Thessaloniki by bus (12 Euros) where I’ll stay at the Tourist Hotel for one evening and leave for Athens in the morning by plane.

... with gold, expensive perfumes in bottles would be put into the outer chamber along with armour, weapons and sacrificed animal bones for the men and jewellery and perfumes for the women. All of these things are on display. We were very impressed with the museum. We drove to the archeological site and even though it was pouring with rain we explored the ruins. This morning we are going to put our hanging around waiting for the museum to open day to good use. We drove to Giannitsa a small town about half an hour away, the road there passed mostly through industrial sites, with fingerposts to other archaeologic sites, of which there are many in this area.
