... so problem solved. Next, even wetter, after our walk through town we set off for Vergina, site of the Royal Tombs, about an hours drive. We arrived and found a car park where we could stay the night with electric hook up, which seems to work ok now. We walked to the tomb. A notice said the palace ruins were closed. This morning we are going to put our hanging around waiting for the museum to open day to good use. We drove to Giannitsa a small town about half an hour away, the road there passed mostly through industrial sites, with fingerposts to other archaeologic sites, of which there are many in this area.
