      ... lane parts of the highway. I also think it has to do with the local government here – all these small companies can be in business. It’s kind of like the “taxi mafia” here in Patong. Other cities have reasonable taxi fares – here the drivers have set areas they can pick up from and the price is set higher. Tourist’s complaints are rife, but that’s the system.
