... morning and let the roads clear before we venture out today. We can hear the snow melting and sliding off the roof of the trailer as we speak, so it's melting quickly out there.

We are hoping to get to Sheridan, Wyoming tonite. It's Roger's dad's 87th birthday party on Thursday night. It would be nice to be there, but we don't want to push too hard as the roads get iffier. We'll see how it goes today.

Our last two days on US-50 have been mostly road time. Leaving Delta, UT, we entered the Fishlake National Forest, then on to I70/Hwy 50 at Salina, UT for a long ride thought the Goblin Valley on one on the hottest days of the year. Lunch in Grand Junction, then on to a very hot Montrose.

On Saturday we drove from Dodge City to Pueblo, Colorado. It was one of our longer days but we gained an hour so were there early afternoon. We stayed at the Pueblo KOA. It is outside of town in the desert. We felt like we were back where we started in Quartzsite but with hook ups. All the water used at this place is trucked in and stored in an underground tank.
