The accommodation for everybody on board starts on C deck and as your status increases, so too does your deck letter with the Captain and Chief Engineer sharing G deck. (Loaded as we are, no cabins from C to G have a view forward or aft.) We spent the morning strolling thru Heraklion. The tourist season is mainly over here as well. Also, it was Sunday so not many shops were open. We saw a lot of well dressed locals, probably all returning from church.

... loose and we were forced to seek shelter in a cave until the rain let up enough to run to the nearest restaurant for some warm food and hot chocolate. We returned to Athens Sunday night, another ten hour ride with little to no sleep, and then took a bus from the port to school. I returned home Monday morning at 8:30 am with class at 11 am.
