    Our next stop was the small island of Mljet, home to 1000 people in the summer and only 500 during the rest of the year. One of the big highlights of Mljet is the national park which takes up a huge portion of the island itself. Before doing anything exciting like walking over to the park entrance we decided to walk along the tiny harbor and get a cup of coffee.     We set off down the coastal road in Montenegro to see if we could get to Albania but after 80kms or so came up 2kms short - stopped by a river. But it wasn't all bad news as there was a little village built entirely on the river and six or so restaurants very pretty and peaceful, so had a quick coffee then retracted our steps to the restaurant we were told about in Vienna by the Gypsy.

    ... falling asleep the whole time. When we got there we were all half asleep so needed a sugar boost, gelato! It was probably the best gelato iv had so far and as you can see iv had plenty! After that we went to a cocktail bar which is on the top of one of the old town wall watching posts. You have to climb a ladder to get to it and it is very small so sometimes you have to line up but from there you get a great view of everything. We had a cocktail there and took some photos ...
