      ... the second largest wall (next to the wall of China) surrounding the area...built to protect the salt that is produced in Ston from being stolen. To this day salt is produced using the old methods.....letting water in from the sea holding it there...bringing in more until the salinity levels get to 23 then letting it into the pens where the water is evaporated and salt forms.       ... some well needed showers.

      Showered off, dad and I hit the local Pemo to get some meat for our BBQ. Lets just say there was not a huge array of choice. Having picking up some sausage shaped things and something that looked like round pieces of chicken we headed back home to the already lit BBQ (very prepared father) and made courgette and red pepper skewers which had come straight out of our garden!

      ... the beach. Still not used to the pebble seashores. Everyone here is smart enough to have water shoes to where... but we figure it is just another thing to carry and squeeze in our luggage, so we have been toughing it out....
