School's out, work is on pause and the cottage industry is closed for Christmas. It's finally here after months of waiting and we're all beside ourselves with excitement.

The bags are packed (with space to spare thanks to Annette's frugal choice of clothes) and we have even managed to find room for Ellie much to Esther's relief.

We've got so many exciting new experiences ahead of us crammed into a 7 week trip. South East Asia here we come!

... eat a large supper (which is actually what they call lunch in England), and lucky for me I got a true English breakfast!!! Let me say that English bacon trumps Canadian bacon in every way shape or form.
