... engelse Cheddar en een nederlandse Edam. De feta is mij wat onhandig onderweg want te soppig; ik hou niet van cheddar, dus kies ik voor de Edammer. Zij kijkt goedkeurend en zegt nog dat de kaas goed is, want die komt uit Nederland. Ik zeg dat ik ook uit Nederland kom. Een luid "Oh", geklap in haar handen, waarna ze me even aanraakt om het nog echter te laten zijn.
Zij vertelt dat ze uit een dorp verderop komt en het hier goed heeft, want het is zo mooi ...

... to climb into the Troodos mountains: again steep, up to ten percent, and with rewarding beautiful views. Downhill it was full of green valleys with farming (as on the coast, lots of citrus here: oranges and lemmons without end), by and by the landscape became dryer (lucky for us, the mmountain-rains of the last days are not that harsh anymore, we didn't have a drop today :-) and only wine and olives remained.

In the evening we had a BBQ dinner.
There is no fixed seating at the dinners so every meal we meet new people and have intersting conversations. Lots of guests have been on the Sea Cloud or her sister Sea Cloud II several times (some up to 15 times) so they have lots of stories to tell.
