The so-called party island
The stop in Mykonos was uneventful and pretty relaxing. OK meal in a local joint and the streets are famous for being a maze which has a sort of charm. We didn't have lovely weather but just a bit overcast and windy.
All in all, an OK place but we much preferred Santorini.

... and I spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach and enjoying the beautiful weather in Athens. We had an early start to get on our ferry to our first Greek Island, Mykonos. Our wake up call came at 5am, we all crawled out of bed off a few hours sleep and somehow made it onto the ferry in one piece. ... height of summer this place must be chaotic. We took the bus or taxis to various beaches and settle on one which we went back to a few times. It was one of the ones on the south coast but I can’t recall the name sadly. However, I know exactly how to get to it and when I come back here on the Ryndam next year, I’ll be back for sure.
