... crabs! Gorgeous days spent with our beautiful friends...the Lamberts plus johns amazing parents who decided to come visit for the weekend! So much fun. The only time we really left is to visit Eumundi markets and a picnic at coolumn beach on the way home. Yoga on the beach and lots of paddleboarding, a bit of fishing (with absolutely no luck) and bbqs at night watching the sunset everyday was ...

... We settled into one of the local cafes for lunch, being after 3 pm it was difficult to find a place still doing lunch. In the hinterland we passed a couple of pineapple, strawberry and Macadamia farms. Worked our way down the mountain with some amazing views on our way home. Got back and we were both feeling a little sleepy so we had a little nana nap before a cup of tea and cooking a red Thai curry for dinner.

... on it…so all is very easy. It was cool for the locals ,for the first few days, light shower here and there and night temps about 10o, so we had the heating on a couple of evenings,, but quickly warmed, to 23/24o ,yesterday 25o,today 27o,but that was one out of the box and way above average for this time of year…,overnights of, 15o/17o,I am fixated on warmth, and kept going out with my sleeveless jacket ,only to take it off in minutes ...

We were able to have an up close view of the kangaroos and koalas during this stop. We hoped to see koalas in the wild a bit later in this trip along with many of the native birds.

          ... but soon became
          unpleasant ,forcing us inside.

Soon we heard a lot of thunder ,then along came the
lightning. There was a lot of thunder,we had to wait a while for the rain. But
really no problem with that after a good day out.

Saw on the news Brisbane suffered flooding ,from the same
storm!! 100mm of rain in an hour and 85km winds. They must have got the full
force of it. A good time to be 130 km from there.:)
