So I have just spent an interesting 5 days in Colorado with 2 hosts, one in the lovely town of Boulder and the second in the heart of Denver. I really enjoyed the area and it has a great mix of interesting things to do both inside and outside the city.

... downtown block that resembles the Denver of the 1880s with shops, galleries and restaurants. A number were closed due to the holiday.

From Denver it was only thirty miles to Boulder. After checking into the motel there was a brief storm which dropped temperature about 10 degrees and made late afternoon and evening perfect for us. Visited the original area of the University of Colorado campus. ...

Last day in Fraser

Today we stayed at home while Dad went mountain biking - he fell off and hurt his arm.

Later on we went shopping at Colorado Mills in Denver (factory outlets -JB) and got some stuff.

We then went out for Japanese for dinner and said goodbye to Nigel, Pam and David.

We went to our hotel in Denver for the night.
