... filled with sensationalized over the top croc feeding. Well it was a little sensationalized but much of the show was done with many different birds flying all around the stadium. A little theatric but I was amazed. They had rapator, vultures, large eagles and the largest bird a condor, as well as mackaws and lerakeets, and cockatiels, all in flight. It was the highlight for me. The show ends with 2 guys feeding a huge saltwater croc. It just looked dangerous.

Well after an exhausting day yesterday... Went to the dentist (I know how to enjoy myself). On the plus side they didn't have to drill, the cost was fully covered by my private health fund and they gave me not one, not two but THREE tubes of toothpaste. After all - it's nearly Christmas! The next day we went to the beach, it was hot enough to go in the sea, I saw some quite big fishes ...

... passionate man who wanted to save animals. Like I said Australia Zoo didn't have the most rare or exotic animals I have ever seen, however the dedication to conservation and raising awareness about animals I found incredible. They are doing a really good job of keeping Steve's dreams alive and continuing his legacy. The highlight of the zoo and the trip so far was not just getting to watch the crocodile show but, actually being there for one of the few occasions that his ...

Another very early bus this time heading to Noosa. This was not on our travel plans to start with but we had heard from many other backpackers that it was worth a visit so decided to make a stop here. We arrived and got checked into the hostel and headed out for an adventure. The centre was around a 20 minute walk. It was a lovely place with lots of vintage shops, cafés ...
