After a short night we went for one last breakfast at the Calypso restaurant at 6.00h since we had to leave the ship at 7.30h already. The transfer to the airport was as always well organized by AIDA.
Thankfully, Iberia was not on strike that day and so our flight to Zurich via Madrid went smooth and we arrived home in the evening.

We had 2 great weeks with nice weather, good food, unforgettable impressions and lots of fun.

... se cumplió. El turismo en esta ciudad es exclusivamente de sol y playa, es difícil encontrar turistas que no sean alemanes o suecos. Como atractivo turístico hay las dunas de Maspalomas, una extensión inacabable de arena y un faro al final de la playa. En el centro de Playa del Inglés hay un centro comercial: Yumbo, donde de día había todo tipo de restaurantes ...

... better days but it was safe and it never failed us. As I returned the car, the next customer, a Swede did kinda privately ask me if it was OK !!!!

The second was a Dacia which was newer and worked perfectly well too. Pepe2 seemed more worried about where I would park it when I returned [New Year's Eve] than anything else.

Both cars were used to cover the many inner roads of the island and there is much to see ...

Teneriffa - Rund um El Teiden


Die Flüge nach Las Palmas waren alle bereits ausgebucht. Daher entschloss ich mich meine Reise mit air berlin in Angriff zu nehmen und über Hamburg zuerst nach Teneriffa und von dort nach Las Palmas zu reisen.
