Hello Friends!!!

I'm torn between it being a relief and a disappointment that I now speak English freely among all the other English-speaking folks. (I'm on the cruise.) While there are over 40 countries represented by visitors, America absolutely took the cake by almost triple that of any other country. I also don't know whether I'm proud of that fact or embarrassed by it. You might say that I'm going through a patriotic self-crisis.

After dinner we all got to some Greek dancing (and even some Greek line dancing and Conga lines ha) which was a lot of fun - especially the techno remix of Zorba's dance haha. Then we had people dancing with tables in their teeth (which JC and I did together and I prayed that the countless hours spent at the orthodontist would not go to waste with one foul swoop of broken teeth) and then watched some fire dancing ...

There is a town north of Corfu and it's really cool, but it's a village in some way.Though, I did visit the Corfu town and I must say it is AMAZING. All those fortresses and fancy resturants and bars were a total hit! Everybody was so relaxed, people aren't that stressed at all. I ...

... is quite casual, no enclosure, no numbered lanes or much information at all. When the agent turns up and starts chatting to a group of Greeks at the port I relax. Note to mum! Customs didn't get me, they got the man in a van next door. How freaky is this? As I'm climbing the stairs I look at the boots in front of me and think "they look familiar", I look up and it's only the crazy, bald Greek man that led us on the assault course ...
