      ... get cold and wet on purpose! We did see one alligator - all too briefly - and a fair few different bird species, however the scenery, the visit to the Chesser Homestead, and tbe visitor centre were actually worth the $5.00 entry fee.

      ... We expected to find lovely campsites on or near the beaches like Oregon & California & imagined sitting in the sun a lot more than we did!! Surprise, surprise it rains in the Sunshine State!! We were disappointed to find very few State Parks with camping & there was no chance of getting in because they book up 11 months ahead!
