        ... on such a hot day. I don't think I have ever seen such a modern fort. It still had cannons. Walking around the beach near the fort, we passed many people fishing and a sandhill crane that was not afraid of us at all. There were many washed-up moon jellies and many more trapped in the surf. We stopped for pulled pork for lunch at a cute road side restaurant and kept going and going until Pensacola, Florida and stopped at a hotel in Golf Breeze. We were already without power, a generator was trying it's best to pump water, and the thought of being cut off wasn't appealing at all as there was no other road out.         We had to get an early start the next morning, we had a very long drive to East Texas, but Travis wanted to make sure we tried some delicious sticky buns before we left.
