    Well, it's almost 4:00 & I haven't taken any photos... Matt has but I haven't. He took a 10 mile mountain bike ride on the Trail of Four Winds. It was difficult, but he had a blast. While he was biking, I was recharging. Literally, recharging- many of our devices at a local Starbucks. The afternoon has been a quiet one.... Took a nap, did some paddling, caught up on ...

    ... are great hikers! We also spent an hour at the after hours animal hospital with our million-dollar puppy (Anna). Something is going on with her eye. Not sure if she injured it or has an object in it... Have meds and may need to see Tippy's vet in Litchfield. We had some fun out on the paddle boards too...I'm not brave enough to take a camera on the water yet. We also had a spectacular sunset... Followed by some elk stew and a lovely ...

    So, the good news to report is that it rained ALL night and we stayed dry..... No leaks in our little mobile home!! Our campground was very quiet... As Matt would say "It was the best behaved campground he's ever been in!". In the morning, while I took care of some UHC business, Matt golfed at Osage National. ...

    Note to ourselves, from 435 out of KC, take Hwy 50 all the way to Hwy 5. Nice wide, smooth road!! We found a really nice campsite, lakeside, at LOTO State Park (site 162). The park is really beautiful, leaves are just changing, park staff super nice (especially Pearl :) ). We decided we really like the name Pearl...would like a grand- daughter to be named Pearl.
