    ... of the park. He motioned behind me and said that there was another 90-something spaces in the back. He asked if I wanted to take a ride around with him but I told him dinner was on the table, but thanked him just the same. We exchanged paper and off he went in his golf cart.

    Dinner was being kept warm while we took Harley out to the lawn, just as Bill drove up on his golf cart. We ended up listening to his story for the next 20 minutes.

    At breakfast, TV news full of "record cold spell" and "snow traffic chaos". Not exactly the hot, muggy South. Even locals amazed.     ... We discovered a beach that comes pretty close to perfect. The park is a dense tropical forest that runs right up to the ocean. There is a lighthouse, a campground, trails, and completely natural, undeveloped beach. The Vietnam battle scenes in Forrest Gump were filmed at this location. We even saw a momma alligator and her baby. I can't wait to return and camp on the beach!
