... feel of pubs at home. I walk the street, looking to see what is happening on a Saturday night. People are walking around, the bars are clearing out, it's barely midnight. I had heard Miami was a club town but I don't know where those clubs were. I did see some people dressed up in suites and such for the clubs I guess. I'm in shorts and thongs, I doubt I'll get in anywhere. I walk the street then turn a block in and walk back up again. Back to the hotel and ...

Shortly after we got to our room, there was an announcement that the ship safety drill was starting soon. So we just hung out until the sirens sounded for the drill. This is an annoying aspect of cruising. Before we depart, they have to do a safety drill where every single passenger goes to an assigned "muster station" on the deck with the lifeboats. And they show us how to put on life vests. It seemed like ...

... of course) and for Olly to have a stroll around Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch!

The drive to Miami was fairly uneventful. It’s basically just south on Florida’s Turnpike for a mind-numbing 4 hours, broken up only by the toll booths. Of which there are loads!

We arrived at our hostel around 8pm, and moved into our 4 bed dorm. Now, a 4 bed dorm is the smallest possible dorm you can stay in, but after spending the last ...

... a few blocks. This place seems to wake up at night.

On Sunday, Kathy and Peter went to their baseball game. I hung round the hotel and tried to sort my thousands of photos. I then went for a walk to take more photos! Didn’t have much luck in Miami, my lens kept fogging up. Got lost on the way back, like totally lost! The blocks are triangles and ...
