... at two bakeries for biscuit and sausage rolls. Once at Campo de
Flori we went through the market which was mainly a food market with fruit and
veges, spices and pasta. We did come across a gentleman selling culinary
gadgets. Not only was he selling them he was performing a bit of a show, he was
funny and very entertaining even using rubber fish and chickens to show how to
blend the food. He would do wonders on a TV shopping show, Lemon juice
extractor, Julien ...

We then saw the one painting by Michelangelo that was originally rejected by the wealthy Doni family it was commissioned for. When Ne Doni wanted to finally buy it he had to pay Michelangelo double!

We were fortunate to see the gallery with a guide and during the off season. We had no waiting at all. During the summer (July) our guide said that there can be a 5 hour wait just to get into the gallery.

... are allowed to travel today and these must have a special permit. We stopped at a service centre for lunch and there were over 50 trucks parked. Each country also has different speed limits and the trucks have stickers on the back to indicate what they can do. Their limit is 90km but the bus can do 100 and cars 130. There are heaps of toll booths and one today had 18 gates for one way of traffic.
