We have spent the last 2 days exploring beautiful Florence. We arrived on Monday mid morning to a miserable drizzly Florence. Found our camping ground and then headed out in Fifi to get supplies. Got a little lost but that is the norm for us on our first day anywhere these days.

A picturesque and refined city with plenty of art and opulence on display from the 1500-1600's and the Medici era.
Our apartment is in the city and John whinges a bit about the seedy entry, but the actual apartment is fine and, as in Rome, we can walk everywhere and we have plenty of room.
