A hot day in Florence.
... before I could get in. This was a great
church, very big and I also had a look at the crypt. I was unable to
take pictures inside the crypt but I took lots in the church. Even
though there was a big line to get inside the church, there were few
people inside it seamed, the church just seamed to swallow up
everyone. When I had finished it exited and headed to the bell tower.

Its Wednesday! That means that two weeks from today I go home.... I'm not sure I'm okay with that. Day 3: Florence
... from the centre of town. As it turns out, I ran uphill almost all the way, to a viewpoint overlooking the city (fabulous running women, it wasn't any worse than trailer park route!). It was still early, the sun was low on the east horizon, and Florence looked magnificent, all ochre and melon and yellow buildings with red tile roofs.
