The entire Redohl Family woke early. Guess we were all ready to get out of Dodge.

After a quick breakfast at House of Blues, packing up, and getting Old Blue back, we headed to Counts Kustoms, right behind the strip in Vegas. ... of Osama Bin Laden when it was disposed of. Pretty cool. Can't remember the name now. Afrer that side of the harbour, we then headed in the opposite direction towards the sea lions, they were cool. They were hanging around on a bait barge and there were some fat suckers. Job done. Got some nice photos of the San Diego skyline - will post later when I have computer open. We went for a walk around the area for an hour or so, then dinner. We went to Jimmy's for dinner. ...

After leaving Flagstaff we strayed from Route 66. I would say to really see all that Route 66 has to offer, at least four weeks should be allowed. That is, if you are going to do the entire route from downtown Chicago ...
