... before being able to leave. Teri dived under the boat to unhook the line while me and deb stayed onshore and pulled the boat in to ease the tension on the line, grahame supervised while kim took photos. After the boat was free we had to take the life boat and meet the yacht in the harbour. This was a challenge in itself as the life boat was out of fuel and the wind was blowing us off course.

All in all paros was a lot of fun.

Flew from Athens to Mykonos and joined up with Teri and her family on their sailing trip of the Cyclades... Sweet deal :) Stayed 1 night on land then 1 night on the boat before sailing off to Paros.

Drove around the island and stopped off at a few beaches including super paradise and a beach full of kite surfers.

... a trip to the Archaeological museum and so we hop on Munkey and head into Naxos town. We enjoy having Munkey, as he can squeeze through the tiny streets and deliver us almost to the door of the museum. It is a lovely C17th Venetian building, which used to be a school for Jesuits, who were taught by the Catholic monks there. In fact, Vicky was excited to learn that Kazantzakis was actually taught there.

It is a true old-school museum; slightly dusty ...
