... town of Naxos, we first visited the temple of Apollo and then found our way through the narrow alleys in the old town to a lovely Italian restaurant. Naxos island has a thriving agriculture industry, not everyone is dependent on the tourist industry, which makes it a more lively place during the off season. We had quite a good time walking along the harbour, and then through the winding streets of the small town. Eventually we reached our destination: the Naxos archeological museum.

While the museum was quite small it nevertheless had quite a few ...

... Walked on to jetty for smaller boats. Water again crystal clear -saw fish of different sizes in the water. Some good views of old parts of Chorah from the port area.

Decided on lunch but no dinner tonight. Found water front tavern with lunch specials. Cheryl had chicken and I had my last meal of genuine Greek kalamari. Bread, salad and chips certainly satisfied any hunger we had. Complementary white wine went down well.
