    We started the morning exploring the east face of Steamboat to find the most spectacular views and some beautifully pitched runs. These new demo skis are the real deal. Love them, and decided not to switch them for our third and final day tomorrow. They make everything easy and quick to bail out of trouble in tough stuff.     Anyway, I checked in and received room 731. The odd number rooms look out at gondola square and the even number rooms overlook the hotel entryway and out toward Ski Time Square. The rooms at the Sheraton were redone about 5 years ago and feature leather chairs, ski and other western prints on the walls and a color scheme consisting of various shades of brown, which when combined, give the room a western motif.     ... this crying sound as they finally figured out how to get through.
    Fortunately they all made it through!

    We watched them climb up the hill and out of our sight before we moved on. They were calling out to the little ones and the little ones were responding back as they went up the hill. It was quite a show!

    After we had had lunch we went to a hot springs (Strawberry Park Hot Springs) which was HOT! Some of the springs went into pools.

    At dinner time we looked at the Steamboat Ski Area and had dinner at the Tug Boat.

    ... so much snow on it, for those of you who don't understand, the material roof is actually held up by the air pressure from within the stadium and not built to withstand such weight on it, so it would seem. It gives old man Favre another day to recover from his battering last week to keep his starting game streak alive, currently at 297 games and counting (the start of this streak was 27/9/92, yes back in 1992).
