... not to be hunted today- fingers crossed. We continued our journey toward Steamboat Springs, stopping several times to take photos of the beautiful sights along the way.. Before arriving, we had to drive through Rabbit Ears Pass, which is a winding road, but above the pass you can see two rock formations that resemble rabbit ears, hence the name. Unfortunately I could not stop to take any photos of them. On arrival, I noticed that all the road speed signs were in both imperial ...

... a wash on. We're not going to look at the upcoming route until tomorrow: today is going to be 100% Divide free (except for the forty miles we did this morning). With this in mind, we headed to the Mahogany Ridge Brewery and Grill for happy hour and got half price drinks and one dollar tapas dishes - ten of them. One thing about the flight to Boston, was it was on a 737-900 and let me say I paid for an Economy Plus seat but you’d never have known it! I was in my usual 8D and I think this plane was not configured for E+, so I think an email complaint to United is in order. These were the tightest E+ seats I’ve encountered and I fly E+ most of the time--I would hate to see the ...

... best time possible. When I took my first trip to the Steamboat area years ago, I had every intention trying a new location each year. But, I had such a wonderful time at both the ranch and at the ski mountain that I have no desire to go anywhere instead. I wouldn’t mind trying someplace new in addition to Steamboat, which I am doing this year in going to Snowmass as well, but I can’t imagine not returning to Steamboat each year. In my mind Steamboat/Vista ...
